If you enjoy leisure and sports activities you will be spoilt for choice at the Crantock Bay Hotel. Indoors we have our own 'Lobster Leisure' complex where there is something for everyone to enjoy, with the lovely warm indoor pool heated to over 30°C, separate toddlers pool, spa bath, men's sauna, table tennis room, bar billiards and well equipped gymnasium.

Outdoor leisure activities include an all-weather tennis court and a 9-hole putting green. For anyone just wanting to relax, sun beds are available in the hotel gardens and on the sun terrace.

For our younger visitors we have a children's play area and wooden fort. During the school holidays we also offer special children's 'Smartie Parties' and competitions.

Below the hotel all ages can enjoy the magnificent Crantock Beach where you can swim, surf, body-board, build sand castles, go fishing, or simply explore the numerous caves and rock pools.

For walkers, the coastal footpath runs right along the bottom of our garden and forms part of the 300 miles of coastal walking available in Cornwall. Just around the headland is one of our best-kept secrets - the small, totally unspoilt National Trust beach called 'Polly Joke'.

The resort of Newquay, situated approximately five miles from the hotel, offers a very wide and varied choice of leisure and holiday activities suitable for all ages to enjoy. Golfers can play on any of the eight courses nearby.

If you are feeling a little more adventurous you can take a flight from Newquay airport or a helicopter from Penzance to visit the Isles of Scilly, go cycling on the famous Camel Trail or even try your hand at kite surfing at Watergate Bay!
